The High Street

Steyning High Street is a charming and historic place to visit. You can find a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants along this picturesque street. Whether you are looking for antiques, books, gifts, local produce or a delicious meal, you will find something to suit your taste and budget. Steyning High Street is also home to some beautiful buildings and monuments, such as the Norman church of St Andrew and the Tudor-style Chequer Inn. Come and explore this lovely town and enjoy its friendly atmosphere.

The Farmyard

The Farmyard will be one of the highlights of the show with something for everyone of all ages.

We will also have a collection of old farm implements and equipment, demonstrations from both a local blacksmith and several spinners. They will be happy to answer questions. The Young Farmers group will be offering activities.

The Tottington Woodlanders, based in Small Dole, will be demonstrating rural greenwood crafts using ash & hazel coppiced from Tottington Woods. There’s a range on offer including bird feeders, walking sticks, plant labels, and ornamental goods made by our members. There’ll be information about accessing and enjoying the local woods.

To top all that off, throughout the day, entertainment will be provided by three local bands too.

Farmyard fun...

The Steyning Centre

For those who don’t know The Steyning Centre, it is a modern venue and the main hall we be arranged as a cafe with comfortable upright chairs and tables. As you would expect, there are toilets including ones for those people with dissabilities.

Teas, coffees, soft drinks and cakes will be on offer in a relaxed cafe environment with a range of local talent providing entertainment. All the profits from the refreshments will go to St Barnabus House which a local charity supporting people with life limiting illnesses.

Memorial Field

Join us for a fun group of dog events plus fun for all the family.
Pay just £2.00 per dog for each contest event. Then simply wait for class to be announced and enjoy yourself.

Don’t hold back there will be lots of rosettes and other prizes to be won.

The first contest will start at 11:30 but please arrive in plenty of time.

As you can see below, there will be a wide range of dog treats, equipment and services on offer.
