You can find a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants along this picturesque street. Whether you are looking for antiques, books, gifts, local produce or a delicious meal, you will find something to suit your taste and budget.

Steyning High Street is also home to some beautiful buildings and monuments, such as the Norman church of St Andrew and the Tudor-style Chequer Inn.

Come and say hello to us at our stall at the Fair and find out about how, with the Community’s help, we have been developing 3 Orchards in Steyning. We’ll have displays, leaflets and advice about fruit tree growing, and sale of our apple greetings cards, and even our own-grafted apple trees!

Nigel Dipple and Phyllis Barber selling a unique range of coloured titanium jewellery, copper and silver items. Plus a large selection of Natural Beeswax Candles and gifts.

More than Just Grasses

small nursery based near Arundel in West Sussex, with a passion for ornamental grasses, perennial plants and wildflowers for prairie/naturalistic style gardens.

Eco Octopus

Eco conscious jewellery and textiles. Materials include copper stripped from waste electrical cables, sea glass, herbs and flowers from my Sussex garden.

Nanny Sues Best Eggs

Nanny Sue’s Best Eggs produces Free Range hen and duck eggs (when the Avian Flu restrictions are lifted) and honey from our own hens, ducks and bees. We also sell my daughters DollyHotDogs art illustrations on kitchenware – mugs, tea towels, aprons, chopping boards, cards, prints, coasters and placemats.

The Quirky Mixologist

Locally produced chutney & relishes. When possible, I try and use seasonal products.

The Iron Railway Vineyard

Selling Sussex wines and locally made beers plus ciders and alcohol free drinks. Please come and chat about the drinks you like and I will offer guidance.

Culberry Nursery

We offer a large selection of home grown herb plants and vegetable plants. Also cottage garden plants and shrubs – come and take a look.

I personally produce and sell Pens, Bottle Stoppers, Key Rings, Toys, Bowls and Boxes. All my products are turned or carved in a 8’x6’ shed at the bottom of the garden!

High Trees

I make hand made polymer clay earrings and silver necklaces with my dachshund Uno. My silver work is inspired by the different grasses and ferns that I find at Bramber Castle and my earrings are quirky and unique.
